3. On the next screen, double-click the warehouse location you want to withdraw the inventory units from.

4. And finally, click the Issue button.

You have just completed a basic inventory life cycle process. Of course, an actual business process can be more complex. However, no matter how complex it is, Almyta Control System will support it. Even if you cannot find functionality you need, ask us. Most likely the functionality is there and only configuration needs to be changed. If not, we will add a custom functionality for you. We can do it in a form of add-ins or by modifying the core system for you.

The Words we Use - In the UK, inventory is pronounced inventry or inven-tree. Inventry is one of many ways the word inventory has been said over the years. The word comes from French inventaire, which means detailed list of goods - and ultimately comes from Latin inventus, which means to be found. In the Roman Empire, inventorium meant a list of what is found. In Spanish and Italian the word is inventario, in Russian inventar, in Greek simply katalogos or catalog - reminding one of the deep split between Greek- and Latin-derived words which even in modern times remains one of the most prominent characteristics of European languages. Software is a much newer word than the old standbys mentioned above, derived from hardware in the 1960s. Ware, however, is older than English itself, probably coming from a Proto-Germanic word that meant object of care, that which is kept in custody. In inventory management, we often use two words that come from ware - software and, of course, the ancient warehouse.
